The Tucson Museum of Art (TMA) was first established in 1924 as the Tucson Fine Arts Association, later being renamed the Tucson Art Center in 1954. After moving to its present location in 1975, the museum became the Tucson Museum of Art to reflect its collecting activities.
While the museum’s old website was robust and informative, it was often overwhelming, attempting to display too much content at once. I aimed to highlight the museum’s most relevant information on its home page, pushing secondary information to easily accessible interior pages in five key action areas: Explore, Visit, Learn, Support and Join. I maintained their existing color scheme, mostly in a limited capacity, often allowing the artwork to stand front and center.
